Why three levels beats one
Most jaw trainers ship a single resistance. You outgrow it in three weeks and progression stops. A gym with one dumbbell isn't a gym.

Questions worth asking
How long until I see anything?
Strength first, appearance second. Most people feel the muscle working within a week and notice fatigue dropping by week two. Visible definition takes 8–12 weeks of consistency — same as any other muscle. Anyone promising you a new face in five days is selling you a refund.
Which level do I start on?
Level 1 — 40 lb — no matter how strong you think you are. And start with short sets: three sets of five, every other day for the first week. Your masseter has never been loaded before. Volume comes before resistance.
Why is there no 30 lb beginner level?
Because you'd outgrow it in two weeks and it would sit in a drawer. Three real levels beats four where one is a toy. Manage your first week with shorter sets instead of lighter resistance.
Will this fix a recessed jaw or change my bone structure?
No. Nothing you chew will move bone. This builds the muscle that sits over your jaw angle — that's what creates width and definition. Skeletal change is a surgical question, not a training one.
How often should I train?
Ten minutes a day, five days a week, with two rest days. It's a muscle — it recovers like one. More is not better here.
What if my jaw clicks or hurts?
Stop. Clicking, locking, or pain near the ear can indicate a TMJ issue — see a dentist before continuing. Mild muscle soreness after a session is normal; joint pain is not. If you wear braces or a retainer, check with your orthodontist first.
